MYOB Licensing Tips
December 28, 2012 / Support Centre
/The MYOB license key is typically tied to the “.MYO” Company File, NOT the installation on the computer itself like most other programs. The advantage of this is that you shouldn’t need to do anything special to license MYOB on a new computer. In fact, it doesn’t matter that much if you have lost the bit of paper the key is written on as it is still embedded in your Company File.
To view the key, open the data file in MYOB and go to the Setup > Company Information menu. The Serial Number, along with the number of licensed workstations is printed on the top of the screen.
