I have prepared the following comparison of Microsoft Volume Licensing pricing between the standard charity, open volume licensing, and Connecting Up donations pricing.
These prices came from the official Microsoft Open Licensing price table, Charity Volume Licensing price table, and Connecting Up donations page.
As one might imagine, there are a lot of different varieties of each Microsoft product. I have tried to pick the same version for every product, but I may have made a few mistakes. The SKU and ID used in the Volume Licensing tables are included so you can double check these products. Sadly, there is no common ID between the licensing programs.
Why did I do this? Mainly it’s for my own selfish purposes – I needed a table of common Microsoft products and their ballpark pricing to make it easy to quickly cost out projects for clients. By posting it here, perhaps you will be able to benefit.
